Professional & Community Involvement
Larry serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of Britebound (formerly American Student Assistance / Massachusetts Higher Education Assistance Corporation), a nationally known non-profit. He also coordinates Authors & Innovators, a free, annual community event centered on business books and innovative thinkers. Past authors appearing at Authors & Innovators have included Guy Raz (NPR), Stacey Vanek Smith (Planet Money), Julia Boorstin (CNBC), Ron Shaich (Panera/Cava), and many professors/authors from MIT, Babson, Harvard Business School, Boston College, Brandeis, and other major universities. Previously, Larry served on the national Board of Directors of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), the Vincent Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees at Massachusetts General Hospital, the Advisory Board of the University of Massachusetts (Boston) College of Management, and the Advisory Council for the Program in Education, Afterschool and Resiliency at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
Larry is a frequent speaker on entrepreneurial finance, corporate governance and corporate compliance matters.
