Chawkat Ghazal advises emerging growth companies on transactional, corporate governance, and securities matters. Prior to joining Gennari Aronson, Chawkat was an associate at Boston-based law firm Foley Hoag. Chawkat earned both a JD and LLM from Boston College Law School. He also holds both a Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from Université Saint-Joseph de Beyrouth, in Beirut, Lebanon. During law school, Chawkat served as an export controls assistant at the Office of Research Security, Integrity, and Compliance at Boston College, aiding compliance with internal policies, U.S. laws and federal regulations on matters related to export controls, economic sanctions, and CFIUS.
